Nice place . Just out side of Milton Keynes. A great spot for stopping in the summer. Good selection at the bar and on the menu.This place is popular so I would suggest booking ahead,especially on the weekends
Sadly, the three locks didn't match up to its usual standard. Slow cooked lamb was tuff. That though wasn't the disappointment. Staff didn't seem on the ball at all. From the slowness of getting our refreshments to staff hair not tied back and full beards not covered. All sounds a little trivial, you may think. Finding flaky skin and hair in your food, isn't a good advertisement. I'm not saying I had this problem but could of. If the likes of McDonald's can deal with this issue. I'm sure a premium establishment like the three locks can. Yes I will return, because I'd like to think it's a simple blip
I have been to this place many times, I have never had a bad experience. On this occasion we went as a family for my birthday, again the service was excellent. I have a severe food allergy as does my son but this was no problem, we could even hear the kitchen staff mentioning it and we can see the food being prepared, I felt assured everything was fine. On this occasion I got given a complimentary glass of bubbly for my birthday. I will return again soon, lovely setting, lovely staff, lovely food. Fantastic
A last minute search for a Sunday roast and the Three Locks came up trumps. A really good size portion of food that delivered on flavour. Perhaps a little on the pricey side but all in all worthy of five stars. If you are looking to eat early i would advise booking in advance as it is extremely popular.
Nice comfortable pub & restaurant next to locks on the Grand Union. Well presented and good value food and excellent beers on offer. Atmosphere can be a bit noisy at times due to the wood flooring but well worth a visit.
